All State Academic Honors: Girls Cross Country

Congratulations to the Dexter Women’s Cross Country team for their All-Sate Academic Honor. The Dreadnaughts place 2nd in the state in Division I vs. all other Division I cross-country teams. The Dexter Women’s Cross Country team has been running away from their competition. This past weekend the girls won the Coaches Legend Race held at Huron Meadows Metropark. Girls Cross Country All State Academic Honors

The Dexter Women’s Cross Country team finished in the top 10 of the state to receive Academic All State Honors from the Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association. Team members consist of Robin Jackson, Elise Dombkowski, Cailin McLean, Alexandra Ammann, Elizabeth Greve, Alison McLean, and Charlotte Read. Women’s XC heads to State Meet

The Dexter women’s cross country team will race on Saturday at the Michigan International Speedway at 2:00 in the MHSAA State Championships. On Friday, the junior varsity team swept the Jackson Invitational to claim first place in the women’s 5000m high school JV race placing four of the top six finishers. The Dexter High School girls cross country team made a strong start on Thursday at the first SEC match of the season.
